Wednesday, March 20 at 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 3:00pm on Wednesday, repeating indefinitely
Yoga of Breath, also known as Pranayama yoga, is a unique and gentle yoga class that teaches participants how to still the mind through breath control while attaining deeper awareness of the body and mind. Join Kamla, a breast cancer survivor, and release tension and increase oxygen to promote feelings of physical well-being and clarity of mind!
An avid yoga practitioner for 10 years, Kamla graduated from Annie Carpenter’s 200-hr SmartFLOW Teacher Training and is currently under Annie’s mentorship, pursuing advanced studies in yoga. Having been through breast cancer surgery, Kamla strongly believes that yoga (especially pranayama, or “Yoga of Breath”) has been an ‘extension of life force’, immensely contributing to her well-being. She considers it a privilege to be able to share her passion with others at Cancer Support Community Los Angeles.
