Thank you for joining us at the 2025 annual Gilda Gala on May 15th at the Andaz West Hollywood. With your support, we raised over a quarter of a million dollars to support our free programs and services for people with cancer and their families—a true testament to the theme of the evening, Cancer is not a solo performance!
The Cocktail Reception was held on the rooftop, with custom cocktails by NEFT Vodka, a silent auction, and live piano covers of music from the Andaz’s iconic history by F E R R O (@ferropop). The dinner and awards portion of the evening was held in the Andaz Ballroom and hosted by actor Jason Kravits (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Only Murders in the Building, Snow White).
Honorees of the evening included Shanthi Gowrinathan, MD (Harold H. Benjamin Innovation Award), Tower Cancer Research Foundation (Wellness Award), Bill Kavanagh, LMFT (Legacy Award) and Beverlye Hyman Fead, Author, Artist, Filmmaker and Advocate (Legacy Award).
Also being honored were the Champions of Care—individuals who have gone above and beyond in cancer-related care—nominated by CSCLA participants. These honorees included Michael Eselun, BCC, Catherine Fortuna (CSCLA Volunteer), Veronica Geanopulos, RDN, CSO, Tania B. Kaprealian, MD, MBA, Haising Cindy Ko, MD, Hyo K. Park, MD, and Jessica Sheth Bhutada, MD.
