A message from our CEO—
Hello,
As you know, the Cancer Support Community Los Angeles will be leaving its space at 1990 S. Bundy Drive.
We’ve enjoyed being here with you since 2010, but, as our founder, Dr. Benjamin, was fond of saying, “Everything changes.”
He was right. We all experienced the heartache of COVID and its devastation throughout our community, country, and world. Many of us have had to reassess our business models.
While we’d have loved to go back to the way it was, we were pleasantly surprised that our numbers grew significantly year-over-year since COVID. Meeting on Zoom allows us to serve more people throughout our diverse community of Los Angeles. And now, because of Zoom, people impacted by cancer throughout the State of California can join in. More access means that our patients and families can participate in our life-changing services in the comfort of their own homes; and through our yearly surveys, the majority of our patients and families have made it clear that they prefer this.
This does not mean we don’t want to see you in person. We do! We are actively seeking partners throughout Los Angeles to ensure that those in-person opportunities are available to you. Please know that during this move and into 2026, there will be no disruption of our online programs. Support groups, counseling, healthy lifestyle classes, education, and child, teen, and family programs will all be available uninterrupted to you and your family.
Our last day of regular in-person programming at 1990 S. Bundy Drive is Thursday, November 20th. If you’d like to say a final goodbye to the Bundy office, feel free to stop in to see us anytime between 10AM-4PM on November 18, 19, or 20. There will be no special programming on those dates, but we would love to see you as we embark on this new adventure together.
