Short-term therapy is available for individuals, couples, or families to address cancer-related concerns. Private therapy sessions can promote a sense of control through problem-solving and empowerment, decrease feelings of isolation, help navigate the numerous transitions that are faced by people impacted by a diagnosis of cancer, and improve a person’s quality of life.
Developed in collaboration with Dr. Bill Saltzman, a family trauma and loss specialist from California State University, Long Beach, CSCLA is proud to offer the FOCUS Family Program for Cancer.
